THE CHALLENGE

The rusk category is a tough one. Products look similar, consumer loyalty is fragile, and shelves are crowded with competing options. Yet Bake had already managed to break through in Egypt, building strong recognition with one brand spanning several product forms. To strengthen this leadership, the challenge was to create a clearer brand system — one that would reinforce Bake as a powerful umbrella brand while giving each product line its own distinctive expression. The goal was to improve navigation across the range, enhance shelf impact, and introduce a new product innovation: Ringz, a playful new savory bite joining Rolz and Stix.

THE solution

TWe rebuilt Bake’s identity around a simple but powerful idea: a brand is a color. Red became the unmistakable ambassador of Bake — slightly toasted to evoke the warmth of the oven and the passion of flavor. Above this bold red world lives the Bake brand, enriched with wheat cues and a more expressive personality. Below it, each product line reveals its own taste universe: Rolz proudly tasty, Stix crunchy and yummy, and Ringz the new savory delicious bite. The result is a stronger, more unified brand system where Bake stands confidently as the umbrella brand: bold, appetizing, and unmistakable. Bake not fried. Bake now looks as crispy and impactful as it tastes.
