The main objective of the project is to showcase how the functional dimension of the product, made according to a Nordic-style recipe, is a nod to Nordic culture that establishes Nadec as the authentic SKYR brand in Saudi Arabia.
The SKYR variety is particularly renowned for its high protein content, its irresistible texture and the versality of the product, which can be used in countless recipes. Whether eaten at breakfast, or after the gym to refuel, SKYR is a pleasure for all the senses. With these insight in mind, we designed the brand platform with “Islandic functional indulgence” as its brand essence.
The packaging represents this duality by way of a minimalist aesthetic, emphasising functionality above all else and placing it more firmly in the world of sport and high performance athletics.
While creating the SKYR logo, great care was taken to reinforce the origin of the product, utilising the most emblematic icon of Iceland: its mountains. Alongside the logo, the clear and well-defined typography emphasises the benefits of the product, in strong, distinct colours that correspond to the flavour of each variety. Starting as a simple key visual, the reflection of this perfect combination between functionality and flavour was carefully prioritised. This later served as inspiration for the launch of the campaign, demonstrating the value of this same careful balance seen today.
